New Laser Machine Installation

Expand business to provide services to a new laser cutting market.

Approach:
To differentiate Debro Steel by focusing on heavy plate cutting to 11/4 thickness

Solution:
Paramount Machinery Inc. and NTC Laser of Novi, MI delivered a turnkey solution installing the NTC Laser TLX machine. The TLX is a gantry type machine where the resonator rides along with the cutting head thereby greatly reducing the length of the beam path. Debro selected a 14’ X 80’ table (maximum table length available is 150’). Featuring the 7000 watt PRC resonator the TLX was ready to meet Debro’s demands easily. The huge machine table permits Debro employees to stage different plate thicknesses on its vast surface area thereby minimizing material handling and enabling the processing of several different jobs without interruption.

The capacity of the TLX has permitted Debro to expand its customer base and differentiate itself from competitors offering more traditional high-definition plasma processing.

The TLX is running three shifts a day and plays a vital role in Debro’s ongoing success.
